Indefinite Break Originally published at Arclight Adventures. You can comment here or there. Sorry, everyone, I just can’t continue the comic right now. Some more details here. Short version, doing both the writing and the art is too much for me with my current workload.
The site will remain up for now, and I might do more with the setting and characters later, perhaps in fiction. We’ll see.
Sorry to disappoint; thanks to everyone who read and followed!

Update Delayed Originally published at Arclight Adventures. You can comment here or there. This week’s Arclight Adventures update will be delayed. Assuming all goes well, there should be a cover image later this week and story pages starting again on March 12th.

Must Fly Page 01-02 …wherein we meet Fagin in his natural habitat: driving a crazy vehicle.
We launch the story with two pages, introducing not only Fagin, but also the amazing clockworks, the continent of Calypsitania, and the concept of “Moreaus.”
In this setting, the framing device of The Island of Doctor Moreau, that it is the manuscript found among the papers of Edward Prendick, and subsequently published upon his death by his nephew Charles Prendick, is considered to be factual.
Since the publication of the manuscript, a new organization has set about to continue the late Doctor Moreau’s work, with mixed results. Fagin, born an arctic fox but surgically and chemically altered, educated, and “elevated” to being a man, is one of their most promising subjects.

More Books Going Out! Originally published at Suburban Jungle Classic. You can comment here or there. Hello, all! Sorry for the extended quiet, but Lord of the Rings Online and My Little Pony have been eating my brain. But! Here’s some news…
If you contributed to the Kickstarter project and have not yet gotten your books, chances are they’re in this batch that I am now sending out. There are a few people who are not yet going to receive theirs because I need more information from them — I will be contacting those people directly in the next couple of days.
The books are up on Amazon, but honestly I’d prefer you didn’t buy them there because I don’t see as much of the profit that way. I will have a link up sometime this week where people can order them directly from GnomeCo Publications.
In the next couple of weeks, I expect to be a lot more active here as I ramp up for Dragon*Con and Intervention. I have some sketches I’ve been meaning to scan for a while now, and I hope to do some actual art in the near future as well, assuming the summer heat doesn’t bake my brain any further.
That’s all for now, catcha later!

No Predation Allowed Off to the Printer! Originally published at Suburban Jungle Classic. You can comment here or there. It wasn’t easy, but somehow we managed to pull it off! All three volumes of No Predation Allowed: Ten Years of The Suburban Jungle have been submitted to the printer, and are due to arrive in time to take them to AnthroCon.
Each volume contains a new, never-published short story featuring a defining moment that has been alluded to in the strip but never actually appeared, and Volume III in particular is almost entirely material that’s never before been in print.
If, however, you won’t be at AnthroCon and would like to make sure you get your copy, you can still pledge to the Kickstarter project! As well as the books, depending on your pledge you can also receive buttons, portfolios, even one of my rarely-available commissions! The Kickstarter project will only be open a few more days, so now’s the time to jump on!
Thanks again to everyone who’s made this possible. You’re all awesome!
